Taste Notes

1. Nose: On the nose there are hints of dried fruits, oak, and a little vanilla, with some honey developing in the background.
2. Palate: The flavours start sweetly with an almost tropical fruit note (think pineapple and mango here , rather than kiwi and passion fruit!) with spiced nuts, which then begins to build up as the tongue starts to tingle around mid-palate Through this development comes a hint of toasted caramel before being tempered by some very distant dry smoke—that is much more noticeable at this point on subsequent sips.
3. Finish: Wonderfully long and warming with a gentle spice.
