Best New DeWalt Tools DeWalt 20V Max XR Brushless 1/2-Inch 3-Speed Hammer Drill


On the heels of the FlexVolt DCD999, the DeWalt DCD1007 boasts an impressive 1,520 MWO, a hammer rate of 38,250 BPM, and a top speed of 2,000 RPMs. It features an all metal 3-speed gearbox and 11 chuck positions that allow you to dial in the torque to fit your needs. They also equipped this high-torque drill with their anti-rotation system, which prevents kickback in case of a bind up.

DeWalt 20V Max XR Brushless 3-Speed High Torque 1/4-Inch Impact Driver


The DeWalt DCF860 impact driver features a top speed of 3,800 RPMs, an impact rate of 4,500 IPM, and a max torque of 2,500 in-lbs. These are massive improvements over the prior 20V DCF845 impact driver! In fact, this seems to be an upgrade on all fronts, emerging as the standalone flagship impact driver, where before you basically could’ve taken your pick between the DCF887, 845, and 850.

DeWalt 20V Max XR Brushless 3 DeWalt 20V Max XR Brushless 7 1/4-Inch Circular Saw


This is the DeWalt’s new flagship circular saw, and they claims you can make up to 368 cuts per charge using the PowerPack battery. The brushless motor is pushing 1700 MWO, reaching max speeds of 5,500 RPM with no load. This saw is shaping up to be quite versatile, with a max cut depth of 2 – 9/16 inches at 90-degrees, and 2 inches in at 45-degrees. This new saw is also compatible with DeWalt’s Airlock dust extractor or any standard 35mm dust extractor.

DeWalt 20V Max XR Brushless 7 1/4-Inch Circular Saw DeWalt 20V Max XR Brushless Reciprocating Saw


DeWalt claims this is its fastest cutting reciprocating saw, with a 1 1/8-inch stroke length operating at a top speed of 3000 SPM. The keyless blade change makes it quick and easy to get hot blades out and throw a new one in, and DeWalt tells us you can expect up to 102 cuts per charge with the PowerPack battery. DeWalt also claims they have made significant improvements to the internal counterbalance mechanism in order to limit felt vibration while you’re working.
