SAERTEX-KEMROCK India Ltd: A New Chapter in Aerospace Industry
The upcoming collaboration will be known as SAERTEX-KEMROCK India Ltd and will establish a new production facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, with a specific emphasis on manufacturing composite components, particularly for the Indian aerospace sector. The facility is scheduled to become operational in the middle of 2010.
SAERTEX specializes in the production of non-woven fabrics made from glass, carbon, and aramid fibers for the composites industry. The company already has a subsidiary in Pune, India. SAERTEX India, established in 2006, manufactures non-woven glass fiber fabrics for use in creating composite wind turbine blades, as well as for applications in the automotive and industrial sectors.
KEMROCK’s existing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, has the capability to produce a range of composite products, including wind turbine blades, pipes, moulded and pultruded gratings, and custom moulded components.
